Gus Edwards

Of the four running backs on this list, Gus Edwards probably would command the biggest contract after a two-year contract worth $9 million from the Baltimore Ravens. He also is still has some good football ahead of him as he will turn 29 this offseason.

The 30-year mark is usually when running backs start to tail off but Edwards hasn't had much work in his career with only 699 rushing attempts in five seasons. This past year he had the most rushing attempts in a single season with 198 and had a career high in rushing yards (810) and rushing touchdowns (13).

Edwards is a big running back at 238 pounds that can pick up those tough yards in the middle of the field or in goalline situations. He also has shown at times that he can be the top running back in place of J.K. Dobbins and would be a good replacement for Cook in that scenario.
