Stephon Gilmore
Stephon Gilmore is another former first-round pick who is looking for a new team in 2024 but he probably will be very selective where he ends up. The veteran cornerback is towards the end of his career and probably looking for one more Super Bowl ring before he retires.
Even if he is towards the end of his career, he has shown he can still be a starting cornerback in the NFL and would probably be an immediate upgrade at the cornerback position. He has started 33 games over the past two seasons with one-year stops with the Indianapolis Colts (2022) and Dallas Cowboys (2023).
Both of those teams are logical landing spots for Gilmore but the team that gives him an easier path to a starting spot would be the Colts. The Cowboys have Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland and as long as Diggs is ready to start the year after his season-ending injury last season that would be the starting cornerbacks.
However, the Colts currently have JuJu Brents and Dallis Flowers as their starting cornerbacks and it would be surprising if Gilmore didn't beat out one of these two.
