The Buffalo Bills have had success since 2017. Sure, they don’t have a Super Bowl to show it or even a conference championship. However, they have rebuilt the franchise with a winning coach and general manager.

Found their franchise quarterback in 2018 (officially since 2019/2020 with growth), and have the positions solidified that are crucial in today’s NFL (number one receiver, franchise left tackle, and a shutdown corner). In addition, they also have a future Hall of Fame edge rusher in Von Miller to mentor hopefully future Bills’ edge rusher Gregory Rousseau.

These logistics are not the only evidence of success. They have won the AFC East the last three consecutive seasons and have made the playoffs in every year since 2017, other than in 2018 during Josh Allen’s rookie year. While success has been on their side, so have heartbreak and failure.

In their first playoff appearance in the 2017-18 season since 1999, the offense failed to score a touchdown in a 10-3 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They dropped a heartbreaking overtime loss in 2019-20 to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round. Since then, they have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs twice and been blown out by the Cincinnati Bengals. What if those scenarios had panned out differently? Maybe there would be a change in history of not just the Bills, but the NFL overall.

Heading into 2023, the Buffalo Bills are in the Super Bowl conversation once again and will have to go through a gauntlet of competition to get over the mountain. While there will be tough challenges along the road, there may also be great moments lying ahead. With that being said, what are the four dream scenarios for the Bills in 2023?
