Tre'Davious White

At one time, Tre'Davious White was one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL and why the Buffalo Bills signed him to a four-year contract extension worth $69 million. At the time, White was coming off a career season where he had six interceptions and was tied for the league in the category.

White would play 14 games that first season of his contract extension but since that year, he has dealt with more than his fair share of injuries. He would suffer a torn ACL in 2021 and miss the first half of the following season as he recovered.

This past season, he was only able to play four seasons after suffering a torn Achilles against the Miami Dolphins. He is now entering the 2024 season with a cap hit over $16 million and is tough for a player who once again might not be ready to start the year.

The contract isn't as tough as some others on this list because the Bills could release him and save $6 million cap space but it would also result in $10 million dead cap.
