For a few years, the Buffalo Bills have tried to be pretty responsible in terms of how they approached building their roster. While they have made some big free agent splashes, they have primarily signed former draft picks to long-term deals after their rookie contract was up.

The success in the NFL Draft and the ability to retain the good players has helped this team have sustained success. They have won four straight AFC East titles and made the playoffs five straight years.

From a league perspective, it has certainly been a great thing to see as for the longest time, if the Bills got the draft pick right that player would leave the first chance they had in free agency. However, these contracts are starting to catch up to Buffalo and now putting them in a tough spot with their salary cap.

When looking ahead to this offseason, these are four contracts that are creating big problems for general manager Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills.
