Bobby Babich

Bobby Babich has been with the Buffalo Bills since 2017 and was part of Sean McDermott's first coaching staff with the team. He was assistant defensive backs coach before moving to safeties coach, a role he was in from 2018 through 2021.

The past two seasons, Babich has been linebackers coach and the impact is clear on this side of the ball. He spent four seasons coaching Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde during some of the best seasons of their career.

However, this season might be his best yet as the linebackers entered with a ton of uncertainty but have played incredible. The Bills would have a brand new starting middle linebacker Terrel Bernard and then after losing Matt Milano in Week 5, Tyrel Dodson has stepped in and played incredible football.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Babich get some looks at defensive coordinator or even see a promotion with the Bills as a way to hopefully convince him to stay.
