4 coaches who could be pried away from the Buffalo Bills in 2024

Eric Washington

Eric Washington joined the Buffalo Bills in 2020 as defensive line coach and prior to this season was also named assistant head coach. Prior to joining the Bills though, he spent two years as defensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers from 2018-2019.

The Buffalo Bills defensive line has been a strength of this defense and players like A.J. Epenesa and Ed Oliver have really developed under Washington. Meanwhile, veterans like Leonard Floyd and Linval Joseph have played meaningful snaps and been productive.

He likely will get some consideration as defensive coordinator with some former coaches he worked with. The New York Giants recently parted ways with Wink Martindale while Steve Wilks, who he worked with previously with the Panthers, could interview with the Chargers.
