The defensive tackle is not the only position that has players who might have seen their roster spot disappear as defensive end is now starting to look pretty crowded. The Bills would draft Javon Solomon in the fifth round and now the team has six defensive ends that could make a case for a roster spot but the team may only have five available for the position.

At the top of the depth chart is Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa, and Von Miller which are all locks for the 53-man roster. After these three is probably Casey Toohill that was a free agent addition and it would be surprising if he didn't make the roster but is not guaranteed if he gets out-played during training camp.

This means the final roster spot likely comes down to Solomon and Kingsley Jonathan, which in these scenarios usually goes to the draft pick. Jonathan has been with the Bills for a few years now and while he has looked good during the preseason, he has struggled to secure a regular role in the rotation.

It might be a similar story this summer for Jonathan and he probably has an uphill battle to earn a roster spot.
