The Buffalo Bills were busy over the 2024 NFL Draft and by the end of the seven rounds would add 10 new players. The Bills were able to add a lot of competition at key positions that should help them put the best team possible on the field in 2024.

The other side though of adding these rookies is that the Bills put some veterans on notice. These were players that entering the 2024 NFL Draft had a good chance to make the 53-man roster but their chances certainly changed.

Will Clapp

The Buffalo Bills would draft Sedrick Van Pran-Granger out of Georgia in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It isn't common for a fifth-round rookie to step in as a starter but he is an experienced center and has been a starter for the Bulldogs the past three seasons.

One player he could be competing for a roster spot with is Will Clapp, who the team signed as a free agent to a one-year deal. Clapp has started 21 games over six seasons between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers, with 11 of those starters this past season.

Since Sedrick Van Pran-Granger is primarily a center, Clapp's best chance to make the 53-man roster will be at guard. However he will be competing there with younger players like Alec Anderson and in the end, there may not be a roster spot for the veteran.
