Jordan Poyer
It was not a great game of the defense as a whole as the Patriots seemingly moved the ball at will, particularly through the air. Mac Jones had 272 passing yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions after throwing for no touchdowns and five interceptions the previous three games.
One player though who had a good game was Jordan Poyer, as he had a season-high in tackles with nine and also recorded his first sack of the season. In addition, he made a key play late in the game that gave the Bills a chance with a forced fumble that would be recovered by Terrel Bernard.
The Buffalo Bills secondary has been tested the past few weeks with Tre'Davious White out for the season while Christian Benford and Dane Jackson each missing a game. Moving forward, the Bills cornerbacks are going to be Benford and Jackson and if the team wants to remain one of the top passing defenses, they are going to need more from the veteran safeties like Poyer and Micah Hyde.
