For the third straight week, the Buffalo Bills had a lackluster performance with a 29-25 loss to the New England Patriots. The Bills have now fallen to 4-3 and more importantly dropped to 1-2 in the AFC East.

While the Bills are not playing well, the season is certainly not lost. When looking back at the game against the Patriots, there were a number of players who stepped up and had good games that should be recognized.

Dalton Kincaid

The one player that really stood out from this game was rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid. The Bills were able to lean on the former first round pick as he led the team in receptions (8) and receiving yards (75) and averaged 9.4 yards per reception.

The performance of Kincaid is a stark contrast to Dawson Knox, who had only one reception for 10 yards but had a big drop late in the game on 4th and 2. Kincaid is an excellent receiver who is sure-handed and if the pass is within reach he is making the catch.

The Bills have been looking for another player to step up in the passing game to take pressure off Stefon Diggs. That player could be Dalton Kincaid and the Bills should be looking to get him between 8-10 targets a game for the remainder of the season.
