Leonard Floyd

Last year, the Buffalo Bills pass rush struggled after Von Miller's injury as the Bills didn't seem to have that veteran presence to help lead the position. The front office made sure they had a backup plan if Miller wouldn't be ready for the beginning of the season.

That would end up being the reality but the addition of Leonard Floyd paid off already for the defense as he was living in the backfield against the New York Jets. He would make his presence known early with the hit on Aaron Rodgers on the opening drive and finished the game with 1.5 sacks and 2 QB hits.

The stats are important but he was very efficient in reaching these totals with playing just over 50% of the snaps. The addition of Floyd not only takes pressure off the younger defensive ends like Greg Rousseau, who also made an impact, but should have Sean McDermott excited about what this group can do once Von Miller returns, hopefully in Week 5.
