Tyrel Dodson

At this point of the offseason, the race to replace Tremaine Edmunds is anyone's guess as the Buffalo Bills have a number of options on the roster. The team brought back veteran A.J. Klein but he seems to be more of a veteran insurance plan if the other players don't step up.

Those other players are last year's third round pick Terrel Bernard, seventh round pick Baylon Spector but also Tyrel Dodson. If there had to be a favorite, it probably would be Dodson as he has spent a number of years with the Bills and been the player who stepped in if Edmunds was forced to miss any games.

While Dodson might be the favorite, the margin is very small and each of those players will get their chance to step in as a starter. If the former undrafted free agent wants to remain in the lead he will need to have a good stretch of OTAs and show he not only can handle the physical responsibilities but have the necessary understanding of the playbook to help the players around him.
