Tim Settle

Another player that is hoping to put a disappointing season behind him is defensive tackle Tim Settle. The Bills signed Settle as a free agent last offseason and the hope was that an expanded role could allow him to build on the flashes he showed with the Washington Commanders the years prior.

This past season, Settle would appear in 15 games and had two starts while playing a career-high in snaps with 373. However, he finished the season with only one sack, four tackles for a loss and two QB hits.

The Buffalo Bills weren't ready to move on and agreed to a renegotiated deal this offseason that essentially guarantees his spot on the 53-man roster due to the dead cap they would incur if they cut him.

However, the Bills did sign Poona Ford after the NFL Draft and the defensive tackle group just got a little more crowded. Settle will need a fast start in OTAs to show he shouldn't lose his spot in the rotation and can be a key part of the defensive line this upcoming season.
