Nyheim Hines
The final player who should be confident about making the Buffalo Bills' 53-man roster is running back Nyheim Hines. The Bills traded for Nyheim Hines during the season and was the team's primary returner on special teams last season.
However, he didn't have much of a role on offense which was surprising as he is one of the better pass catching running backs in the league. That could change this season as the Bills were willing to rework his contract and the new contract created some initial cap relief.
The downside was that it added some dead cap if he were to be released with $1.5 million this season and $500,000 next season. This is an indication that Hines' spot on the 53-man roster should be pretty much set.
