Nearly half of the first round picks will be either quarterback or wide receiver

This may not necessarily be a Buffalo Bills prediction but certainly will have an impact on the Bills. The strength of this year's class, particularly at the top, lies on the offensive side of the ball and almost half of the first-round picks will be either quarterbacks or wide receivers.

The NFL Draft should begin with four quarterbacks, as long as the Arizona Cardinals trade back from their spot at four, and the prospects selected should be Caleb Willians, Jaylen Daniels, Drake Maye, and J.J. McCarthy in some order. In addition to these four, Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix have realistic chances of hearing their name on Thursday night.

The wide receiver position is equally as deep and they have their own Big 3 that includes Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze that probably go in the Top 10. After these three is Brian Thomas Jr., who the Bills should be targeting in the first round.

However, if he is selected before they get the chance to pick there is another group of receivers that are likely first round picks. This group includes Adonai Mitchell, Xavier Worthy, Ladd McConkey, and Troy Franklin.

That is 14 players just between those positions that will need to by their phones Thursday night as they should know which team they will be beginning their career with.
