The NFL Draft is set to kick off this week and there are usually more than a few surprises over the seven rounds. The Buffalo Bills could certainly have their own surprises as they are entering this year's draft with plenty of questions.

It would seem like the Bills are set to go wide receiver in the first round but that may not be the case depending on how the draft plays out before their pick at 28th in the first round. When looking ahead, these are four predictions for the Buffalo Bills and the NFL Draft as a whole.

Buffalo Bills do not trade for a veteran wide receiver during NFL Draft

While Brandon Beane has never been afraid to make a trade, the Buffalo Bills are not in a position to trade for a veteran wide receiver. There are some big name receivers that could be on the trade block like Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins, or even Justin Jefferson.

The problem is that the Bills don't have the cap space to finalize a trade for one of them with the current contract. If a trade was done, the Bills probably would have a contract extension agreed to that would lower the cap hit this year but that can't be done until they are a member of the team.

One option for the Bills would be to wait until after June 1st to do a trade because they have the necessary cap space with Tre'Davious White's release being finalized. However, don't expect a trade to happen this week.
