Donovan Peoples-Jones

Of the four wide receivers on this list, Donovan Peoples-Jones would be the best option for the Buffalo Bills as a bargain free agent wide receiver. He was a sixth round pick by the Browns in 2020 and saw his role steadily increase over the first three seasons.

He had his best year in 2022 when he had 61 receptions for 839 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. This past season, he saw his role in the offense really diminish and he was traded during the season to the Detroit Lions.

Donovan Peoples-Jones is similiar to Van Jefferson as a bigger wide receiver that can make plays down field at 6'2" and an average of 15.5 yards per reception. The reason that Donovan Peoples-Jones is a better fit is that he has primarily played in run-heavy offenses and does a good job blocking down the field. This is an area that Gabe Davis has also excelled and the former Browns and Lions wide receiver would be able to replicate that performance.
