The Buffalo Bills the past few years have had a gadget wide receiver, who primarily is the fourth wide receiver on the depth chart but can be moved around and line up at different points on the field. The Bills have tended to go with the smaller, quicker type players like Isaiah McKenzie or Deonte Harty.

There is still a need for that but the team may want to go in another direction and add a bigger wide receiver to fill this role. That player could be Laviska Shenault Jr. who is a free agent after two years with the Jacksonville Jaguars and two years with the Carolina Panthers.

Shenault was a second round pick by the Jaguars in 2020 and had a good rookie season with 600 receiving yards, five receiving touchdowns with 18 rushing attempts and 91 rushing yards. However, he has struggled to produce at that same level with only two total touchdowns over the last three seasons.

Similar to Campbell, it is tough to judge Shenault's performance the past few years in a Panthers' offense that has been one of the worst in the league. However, with Joe Brady running the Bills' offense he could be productive.
