2.) Tre’Davious White

The former All-Pro cornerback looked like he was back to his old self pre-ACL injury against the Jets. He was targeted just three times against the Jets and showed that his injury is officially behind him. Unfortunately, the one highlight that he was apart of was Garrett Wilson’s one handed deflection that he bounced back to himself away from White and caught a three-yard touchdown grab. Aside from that, there is no reason to be worried about White.

With that being said, his potential matchup in Davante Adams will be a bigger test as Adams is a bigger version of Wilson. Coming off a six reception game for 66 yards on nine targets, Adams looks to be the main go-to guy for Garoppolo with the uncertainty of Jakobi Meyers who is concussion protocol. If Adams is good this Sunday (currently dealing with a foot injury), White will need to be able to repeat his performance to take a big weapon away from Garoppolo.

It also would not hurt if White received some safety help from Jordan Poyer or Micah Hyde just to make sure the route-running abilities by Adams doesn’t take over the game for the Raiders offense.
