1.) Stop the drops

The Bills were second in the league in drops with 29 dropped passes and Davis contributed to nine of those dropped passes. He has gone up in dropped passes each year in Buffalo (3 in 2020, 5 in 2021, and 9 in 2022).

Nothing hurts the momentum for an offense like a receiver dropping crucial passes that could have easily moved the first-down chains, or even put up six points on the scoreboard. From week six to week nine, Davis had one dropped pass in each game. In addition, Davis also dropped two passes in two different games.

He averaged a 9.7 percent drop rate in 2022, which is not the greatest look. Although his drops increased, he also set a career high in receiving yards (836) and tied his season receiving touchdown stats with seven.

Imagine if some of his drops ended up being caught…the Bills are set to continue to be a pass-first offense this season and Davis will have eyes on him to see what he can do in a year that will decide his fate for 2024 and beyond.
