The Buffalo Bills are back on the road in Week 3 after their first win last week against the Las Vegas Raiders, and will now turn their attention to the Washington Commanders. Off to a 2-0 start after being down 18 points against the Denver Broncos, the Commanders are back at home to host the Bills who are coming off a statement win.
The Commanders have been in close games the last two weeks, in which they surrendered a hail mary against Russell Wilson that allowed the Broncos to get into a position to tie the game with time expired. However, the Commanders were able to stop the Broncos on a controversial play in which it seemed like the secondary got away with a pass interference, and ended up winning 35-33.
On the other hand, the Bills have been heartbroken on a punt return for a touchdown in overtime by the New York Jets, and delivered a beatdown to a Raiders squad. Sean McDermott will go up against Ron Rivera for the second time since he left Rivera’s staff in Carolina as the defensive coordinator. Rivera is 1-0 against McDermott, so McDermott will look to even the score on Rivera’s home field.
