3.) Get defensive help

In Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins, the Bills suffered a massive blow in the secondary with Tre’Davious White tearing his Achilles late in the third quarter. White would eventually be put on the IR.

Fast forward to Week 5 in London, the Bills would then be cursed with many injuries throughout the game including to defensive tackle DaQuan Jones and Matt Milano. Jones suffered a pec injury, while Milano was carted off due to a leg injury. Both players would eventually be placed on the IR.

At all three levels of the defense, the Bills suffered great blows and it has shown. Aside from the Giants game, the Bills’ defense is not the same. It showed against the Patriots, who have one of the slowest offenses in the league and allowed Mac Jones to march down the field for a game-winning touchdown. The next man up mentality is only good for so long. At the end of the day, if you do not have great starters or atleast good depth, the defense is going to keep letting opposing offenses walk over them.

Brandon Beane could be feeling the pressure to make a move seeing as how the Bills are at 4-3, and have the toughest part of their schedule coming up in late October and throughout November.
