1.) Production

We all know that Stefon Diggs is the go-to guy for Josh Allen, but in today's game, it is important to have a high value number two receiver. One of the issues that the Bills have had is getting production from their receivers outside of Diggs. Most teams are able to double cover Diggs because no other receiver is able to get open one-on-one.

Since 2020, Davis has only had five games (that include two playoff games) where he caught over 100 passing yards. That is not good enough with the direction the game has been in as far as a passing league. He is averaging about 661 yards a season.

When you take a look at other teams such as the Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins, they have two dangerous weapons on the outside and have proven to be a threat. This is not to say that Davis could not be that type of player with Diggs, but the inconsistency does not help his case.
