2.)  Will there be a true competition between Spencer Brown and Brandon Shell at right tackle?

When the Bills drafted Spencer Brown in 2021 in the third round, there were high hopes of solidifying the outside of the offensive line in front of Josh Allen with Brown and Dion Dawkins. Instead, there have been ups and downs, as well as injuries with Brown.

He has yet to play a full season with the Bills in the last two seasons and his pass protection has not been good enough. His run blocking on the other hand has been decent, but the Bills love to throw the ball which has put Brown at a disadvantage.

The Bills signed veteran offensive lineman Brandon Shell this offseason, who played with the Miami Dolphins last season. Shell joins the Bills on an inexpensive contract and as someone who could provide competition for Brown. If the right tackle position is up for grabs in training camp, this will be a key battle to watch and see who will protect Allen this season.
