3.) How worried should Bills fans be worried about the linebacker position this season?

When Edmunds officially signed with Chicago this past free agency period, it may have left a feeling of concern for Bills fans. They have an All-Pro linebacker in Milano who is a dominant force for the defense. Other than Milano, who else is a player that can be a game changer at linebacker? There is definitely a reason to be worried.

There is no set player who can easily transition into Edmunds’ replacement and the future is uncertain. The Bills may be looking to acquire a linebacker in the middle of the season or go get one next offseason/draft.

On the other hand, the Bills under Sean McDermott are all about development. With Bernard and Williams being drafted the last two offseasons, and having the veteran presence of Klein who can help them grow for the future, this plan can be considered more of a work in progress.

Bernard is going into his second season with the Bills while Williams is just starting his career. Development will be key to see if the Bills will have a long term answer at linebacker or if they will need to explore other options.
