Trace McSorley

Another young quarterback who could be considered more of a development addition, Trace McSorley was a former fifth round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was with the Ravens for about two and half seasons before being signed by the Arizona Cardinals off the Ravens practice squad.

He was with the Cardinals through last season and in his career has played in nine games and started one game. McSorley has 93 career pass attempts with one touchdown and five interceptions.

Trace McSorley signed with the New England Patriots this offseason but was cut this week alongside Bailey Zappe, which was one of the surprises on Tuesday. McSorley doesn't have the size of Josh Allen but has some mobility at the position that could be a good fit in this offense.

I think this doesn't seem like a great fit because he doesn't have the veteran experience of some of the other quarterbacks or the knowledge of the offense like Jake Fromm. At this point of the year, the Buffalo Bills probably will want one of those other things.
