3 keys for victory for the Buffalo Bills over the New York Jets in Week 1

3.) Shut down the Jets’ run game
The Jets have two running backs who have either produced in the league or are on their way to potentially becoming a top back in the league for the future. The Jets drafted Breece Hall last year and was on his way to winning Offensive Rookie of the Year before tearing his ACL.
He was activated off of the PUP list so he is expected to suit up. However, expect the Jets to not utilize Hall in a big way as they have recently signed Dalvin Cook, who has rushed for 1,000 yards or more for four consecutive seasons. The Jets will have the ability to threaten the Bills with their run game, making this a key factor for the Bills to find a way to stop the run attack and make Aaron Rodgers pass on them.
The Bills’ defensive line will be tested with Cook and Hall, who can open the field with their legs and also help set up the pass. Led by Ed Oliver and company, Buffalo must find a way to contain and limit the run to take away two potential weapons on the Jets’ offense.
