3 key matchups for Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills in Week 4

3.) Xavien Howard vs. Stefon Diggs
These two are no strangers to each other, as they face off every time the Bills and the Dolphins play each other. Stefon Diggs is coming off a 12-target game against the Washington Commanders and has passed over 100 receiving yards in two of three games this season.
Two weeks ago, Xavien Howard was targeted 11 times and allowed 7 catches for 55 yards and has not allowed a touchdown this season. This matchup could determine if the offensive scheme by Buffalo can manage or if they have to get creative with the other weapons available.
Since 2018, Howard has picked off Allen 5 times. In order to keep Howard from causing a turnover, Allen will need to be on the same page with Diggs and communicate with each other to get past Howard. On the other hand, Howard will need to make sure that Diggs doesn’t get a step ahead on him because if he does, the Allen-to-Diggs connection can heat up at any moment.
