3 free agents the Buffalo Bills could break the bank on in 2024
The Buffalo Bills are well above the salary cap and it seems unlikely that they would be able to afford some of the top free agents available. After the season, general manager Brandon Beane said that it was unlikely that there would be any big splashes.
However, since then the salary cap ended up being well above what many expected for the upcoming season at $255.4 million. The Bills won't have to cut as much to get under the salary cap and well below it with some moves.
In addition, with some of these bigger free agents teams can structure contracts to make that initial year well below the average salary of the contract and it is easier as they typically are longer contracts in the range of four to six years.
Even though Brandon Beane said it was unlikely, it is unlikely to count out the Buffalo Bills at any point. These are three free agents the Bills could break the bank for this offseason.
