The final player is another one that is not a regular starter but has been a part of this offense, a role that has grown as of late. In the first 11 games, Sherfield had only 10 targets and played roughly 10-20 snaps per game.
However, over the past five games he has eight targets, including three this past week against the Patriots. Unfortunately, Sherfield was not able to catch any of the targets including a big drop on 3rd and 10 in the first half.
The Buffalo Bills signed Trent Sherfield this offseason after a season with the Miami Dolphins where he would have a career high 417 receiving yards and two touchdowns. However, Sherfield has not been able to make the same impact with the Bills this season.
