2.) Andy Isabella - Wide Receiver

At the start of training camp, the Bills brought in free agent wide receiver Andy Isabella to add to the receiving mix, and even added to a special teams competition to return kicks. Isabella was with the Arizona Cardinals from 2019-2022, before joining the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. Isabella brings a 4.31 40 yard-dash speed to the Bills which is something the Bills have not had in a couple seasons. However, the Bills wide receiver room is pretty crowded so Isabella will definitely have an uphill battle to make the roster.

Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis are the two outside weapons. Khalil Shakir is going into his second season with the Bills in his rookie contract. Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield were brought in during the early stages of free agency, and rookie wide receiver Justin Shorter is a big body receiver who could serve as that big weapon in the pass attack.

Going into the season, there potentially was a competition on special teams between Nyheim Hines and Deonte Harty to return kicks. Now that Hines is out for the season, Harty could be involved more in the offense which could help Isabella take on the kickoff and punt returns. The preseason will show if the Bills end up taking on seven receivers going into week one.
