The Buffalo Bills are through six training camp practices already, and two of them have been padded. Just like the temperature up in Rochester, NY, for camp, the players are starting to heat up as we really get rolling toward the first preseason game. These players are starting to turn some heads already.

No. 1: Wide Receiver Tyrell Shavers

Signed as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Shavers spent last season on the team's practice squad. Normally, those players are just a mere afterthought for fans and even coaches. That wasn’t the case coming into this off-season, when general manager Brandon Beane name-dropped Shavers as a notable guy the team already had on the roster, following the Stefon Diggs trade and Gabe Davis departure.

Well, Beane told us months ago, and now Shavers is doing his thing at training camp and making an impression. He has been getting plenty of reps with the first and second-team offense, while making some nice catches. The 6’4” 211lbs receiver could push Marquez Valdez-Scantling for that vertical speed threat role. Multiple of Shaver's teammates have mentioned him in their press conferences, Dion Dawkins even noted how much he has grown over the last year.

Sean McDermott noted Shaver’s’ work ethic and ability to play special teams. Joe Brady, the man in charge of the offense noted the versatility he brings. If Shavers can stay hot, he has a real shot to crack the 53-man roster.
