2.) Terrel Bernard

Much like Oliver, linebacker Terrel Bernard has become a great player in this Buffalo defense all year long. In this game against the Patriots, he was tied with the most total tackles with 10 and added on two sacks with 3 quarterback hits.

Out of his 10 tackles, 3 of them were for a loss. He also played great coverage in passing situations, not allowing a passing touchdown all game long. Bernard has taken control of the defense and has been able to establish his versatility in both the run and pass defense.

Heading into next week, Bernard will need to be on his toes going up against a powerful Miami offense who can win with speed.

1.) Rasul Douglas

When Brandon Beane traded a third round pick to the Green Bay Packers for cornerback Rasul Douglas, they gained stability to bring to a hurt and beatdown secondary. Since his arrival, Douglas has played as one, if not the best, player on the defense.

Douglas recorded 2 tackles and 2 interceptions in which one of them he returned for a touchdown. He was at the right place at the right time all game long and he helped bring life to the Bills in the first half. Since his arrival to Buffalo, he has 5 takeaways and has earned a lot of respect and praise from the Bills.

Douglas will have a great challenging task next week against the Dolphins’ receiving core led by Tyreek Hill and will need to play lockdown football to keep the Bills in the game.
