3.) Ed Oliver
Every week it seems as if the contract extension that Oliver received in the offseason is considered a great deal for the Buffalo Bills. He not only recorded a sack to get to 9.5 sacks on the season, but he also had an interception early on in the game after Rasul Douglas tipped Bailey Zappe’s first pass.
In addition, Oliver created interior pressure all game along against the Patriots and even batted down a pass as well. He was well in Zappe’s face and helped collapse the pocket that put Zappe out of his comfort zone.
The star defensive tackle has come up big for the Bills all season long and with the return of defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, it allowed Oliver to play in his natural 3-technique position and create pressure. Oliver will once again be looked upon to stuff the middle of the trenches next week in Miami.
