Gabe Davis

The first player is Gabe Davis which might be tough to call a bust because he has looked really good at times, like his record-setting performance in the playoffs a few years ago with four touchdowns against the Chiefs. However, in two seasons as a starter he has not been able to have a consistent presence in this offense.

In the past two seasons, Davis has started 33 games but has only 93 receptions and 1,582 receiving yards. This past season, he had 81 targets (which was third most on the team) but finished third in receptions with only 45. That is one more than James Cook (who had only 54 targets) and six more than Khalil Shakir (who had only 45 targets).

Gabe Davis is set to be a free agent this offseason and there is certainly a team that still believes he could be a starting wide receiver in the NFL. However, that team shouldn't be the Buffalo Bills and they should look to cut their losses this offseason.
