3 Buffalo Bills players who could get big money elsewhere after cap surge
Tyrel Dodson
The final player may be a bit of a surprise but with how Tyrel Dodson played in place of Matt Milano this season, there are teams that will believe he can be a full-time starter. In the first three years in the NFL, Dodson had only five total starts but last season would start 10 games and had 74 total tackles, eight tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, and six QB hits.
According to Pro Football Focus, Dodson had a grade of 87.9 this season which was first among all AFC linebackers. The improvements he made this season were one of the reasons the Bills' defense remained one of the best without arguably their best defensive player in Milano.
While Tyrel Dodson may not be a household name outside of Western New York, it wouldn't be overly surprising to see him get a big contract after the season he had with the Buffalo Bills.
