The Buffalo Bills and Brandon Beane may have had a trick up their sleeve with the NFL Draft, planning for life after some of their top-paid players. The team drafted two offensive tackles, a center, and a defensive end with four of their ten draft picks. Could that be telling for who’s on the chopping block, or will enter free agency, in 2025? A few key players on the Bills roster must have improved seasons if they want to stick around in Buffalo. But it’s worth mentioning with the way the Bills structured a lot of these contracts, they’ll be able to get out of them pretty easily.

After the roster purgatory, the Bills went through not too long ago to get under the salary cap, we may see them slow down on big-time free agent additions the next couple of seasons, and stick to the draft, much like their 2024 approach. While it’s not as flashy as we’ve seen from the Bills, signing Von Miller and OJ Howard within 20 minutes of each other, and acquiring Stefon Diggs during pandemic lockdowns, building through the draft is the correct way to go about things for a little while.

But that also means getting rid of some more old veterans. So, who’s on the proverbial hot seat on this roster? You could ask five different Bills fans, and they’d probably all give you a different answer, some may be right, and some may be wrong. please don’t ask them after the week one game, or you might get some Josh Allen responses. But let’s take a look at two players specifically.
