Jared Verse

Another pass rusher the Buffalo Bills could consider is former Florida State defensive end Jared Verse. He is a work in progress for any NFL team after beginning college at the University of Albany as a tight end.

He would shift to defensive end and then eventually transfer to Florida State where he had 18 sacks over the past two seasons with 29 tackles for a loss. Verse may not be the biggest defensive end but makes up with it by his athleticism and would be an immediate contributor in the rotation for the Bills.

Cooper DeJean

Another defensive player who could be a target for the Buffalo Bills is Cooper DeJean, who played cornerback mostly with Iowa but would be a great fit at safety in this defense. He has a very similar skillset to Micah Hyde and would be a clear replacement for the veteran.

There might be a little bit of a learning curve for DeJean but the Bills are in a position to be a little more patient with the defensive back. The team already has Taylor Rapp and Mike Edwards on the roster and these two are more than capable of being starters in this secondary.
