We are one day closer to an AFC East battle between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots. It’s a big week for both teams in different aspects. The Bills have the chance to not only stay in the playoff picture, but they could keep the division up for grabs if they win. As for New England, if they beat Buffalo then they will win the division for the first time since 2019.
New England got the best of Buffalo in their Week 5 matchup in Orchard Park, so now the Bills have a tough task to go into enemy territory and take down a team that hasn’t lost since Week 3.
Truth be told, the Bills need to play perfect complimentary football to win this game. There’s no other way to say it. In order to do that, the Bills are going to need their absolute best from everyone. However, with it being December and the Bills still dealing with injuries, they are going to face some challenges in this game.
Bills' updated injury report puts fans in major feeling of concern
The Bills’ Thursday injury report came out and there was a name that popped up for the first time this week; cornerback Christian Benford. According to Nick Sabato, Benford was “wearing a walking boot after practice.”

Benford was listed for having a toe injury, and Sabato had mentioned that Benford warmed up and participated in drills, but that it was a possibility that the toe is just sore.
Seeing this update isn’t exactly the best thing to see ahead of an anticipated matchup against a division rival. Not to mention, Benford is more than likely set up to go against Stefon Diggs, the former Bills who had his way with Buffalo earlier this season.
Tomorrow’s injury report will really tell us the full picture about Benford heading into Sunday. Buffalo needs him, especially since he has had two amazing games the last two weeks against the Steelers and Bengals. He’s had two defensive touchdowns and a sack coming off the edge. Buffalo needs him for Sunday going into Foxborough, plain and simple.
