There’s not a single team in the NFL that wouldn’t want to have a dynamite player like WR Justin Jefferson on their team. He is a Top 3 wideout in the game and it’s not debatable. The Minnesota Vikings are lucky to have Jefferson, but they have themselves a tough quarterback situation.
While the Buffalo Bills have arguably the best quarterback situation with Josh Allen under center, they have been lacking at wide receiver over the last two seasons. They need to get Allen a true No. 1 wideout no matter what this offseason.
Jefferson would be an amazing upgrade to the Bills’ wide receiver core, but they would obviously have to try and trade for him. Not to mention, the Vikings would have to be willing to listen and there is no doubt that a team that acquires Jefferson would be giving up a massive package. However, it wouldn't be surprising if the Bills made a call to the Vikings to atleast inquire about Jefferson and whether or not he's available.
While Bills fans would love the idea of having Jefferson in Western New York and catching passes from Allen, Jefferson is still reiterating that he is a Viking, per the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams.
Don't worry Bills fans, Justin Jefferson has been seeing your tweets 😆@JJettas2 | @heykayadams pic.twitter.com/oYHkMExONW

Justin Jefferson keeps reiterating that he is a Minnesota Viking
Obviously, with Jefferson still being under contract and being Minnesota’s best player on the team, he’s going to keep saying that he’s part of the Vikings. However, Bills Mafia is still hoping somehow that he will be a member of the Bills this coming offseason.
Let’s not forget, there was a world where the Bills could have already had Jefferson. Back in 2020 when Jefferson was coming out of LSU and into the draft, the Bills had traded their 1st-round pick (No. 22) as part of a massive package to the Vikings to acquire Stefon Diggs. The Vikings used that pick on Jefferson.
Obviously, the biggest piece to this dream would be to see if the Vikings are even willing to talk about trade scenarios involving Jefferson, let alone trading him. In addition, Jefferson has huge cap hits right now and a team that would trade for him would have to find a way to make that work with their current salary cap.
The Bills are not in a position to make a gigantic swing that will destroy their cap. Brandon Beane has a ton of work to do with that situation, whether they try and trade for Jefferson or not.
For right now, Jefferson is a Viking. Maybe that changes, maybe it doesn’t. For right now though, all that Bills fans can do is dream about having Jefferson on the team.
