Since Week 2, the Buffalo Bills have had to deal with an injury situation involving DJ Moore. He hurt his shoulder against the Lions, resulting in an AC joint sprain. When he went down, the receiving options for Josh Allen became limited.

Believe it or not, the best target for Allen has been Keon Coleman who has made some impressive plays in the last few games. In fact, he reached over 100 yards and also got a touchdown against the Patriots. Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid have also done their parts here and there, but one receiver that hasn't done much outside of his two touchdowns in the first two games is Joshua Palmer.

In Buffalo's 29-26 loss against the Patriots, Palmer once again disappointed after being held catch less against the Chargers in Week 3. Palmer has just 3 catches for 80 yards. Yes, he doesn have two touchdowns in the first two games, but those were his only catches in those games.

Joshua Palmer struggles in Week 4 put Bills in spot to make roster change

Since joining the Bills last offseason, Palmer hasn't had over 61 yards in a game which is extremely disappointing. After yet another bad performance that included a big drop in the 2nd quarter, and only coming off of one catch (despite having 4 targets), it's time for the Bills to make a chance at wide receiver and put Skyler Bell in the offense and replace Palmer.

Skyler Bell, who was the Bills' first 4th-round pick back in April, has yet to make his debut this season. When the Bills drafted him, there was a ton of excitement because of the different elements he brings to his game. He can line up in the slot or outside, and he is great after the catch.

We saw a glimpse of Bell in the final preseason game against the Steelers where he had 7 catches for 49 yards, and also had a 28-yard rushing touchdown that jumpstarted the Bills' comeback win over Pittsburgh.

It's time for Bills to activate Skyler Bell and replace Joshua Palmer in Week 5

The Bills are heading to the west coast for their next two games, and up first in that trip are the Los Angeles Rams, where both of these teams will meet for a Monday Night Football battle. With Moore still dealing with a shoulder injury for the last three games, the Bills need to find a spark on the outside for Josh Allen.

It's time to give the rookie a chance to show what he can do, and there is no better way to do it than against a hungry Rams team.
