Josh Allen's QB Mount Rushmore says the quiet part out loud about Tom Brady

He'll follow the Bills forever...

Going into another season with high expectations, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is after that elusive first Super Bowl win. But, even as such a big season is kicking off, Allen was kind enough to take some time and sit down with FanSided's Sterling Holmes to answer a few questions for the Mafia.

Holmes, of course, had to give him the big one.

"When it comes to your Mount Rushmore of all-time quarterbacks, who are you throwing on there?" he asked.

Allen didn't hestitate when throwing the very first name atop his Mount Rushmore.

Bills fans won't escape Tom Brady so long as Josh Allen is chasing him

"I'm gonna go Tom," he responded quickly.

Even though it's been a few years since Brady was with the rival New England Patriots, Buffalo still cannot escape the name being brought up. It stings to have to call him the greatest quarterback in league history, but at this point, we'd be kidding ourselves if we thought or said any different.

Allen knows who he's chasing if he wants to go down as an all-time great and earn that oh-so-coveted gold jacket. It's Brady.

Josh Allen throws a wild card into his Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks

As for the other three? Allen sticks primarily with the quarterbacks he grew up watching, still.

"I'm gonna go Aaron (Rodgers). I'll go Peyton (Manning)," he continued.

You can debate anyone but Brady all you want, especially guys like Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning. Heck it was Brady who had Manning's number more often than not. Who knows what would have happened if Brady and Manning played in different eras.

Rodgers, meanwhile, has a lot of similarities to Allen, and it's no surprise to hear the Bills gunslinger to toss his name into the mix. The early mobility of Rodgers and his throwing outside the pocket was second to none for a very, very long time.

"And then there's this this quarterback I didn't give enough credit growing up: Drew Brees," he finished.

There's the wild card. Not many people would think to put Drew Brees into their Mount Rushmore of quarterbacks. You could argue others like Joe Montana, for example, in his place. But, Brees is the league's second all-time leading passer just behind Brady.

Brees also owns the most career seasons with 5,000 passing yards. He did that five times, while Brady and Patrick Mahomes are next with two. So, I think Allen has a valid point with Brees; a name not many might first think of in this conversation.

Much thanks to Brees and his partnership with Snickers for the time taken.
