For the second consecutive season, Bills’ offensive coordinator Joe Brady has been a name that has been listed as someone who could land a head coaching job. Last season, he got interviews with teams like the Saints and Falcons, and he was a serious candidate for the Saints job. He opted to stay in Buffalo after withdrawing from the process.
Now, he has interviewed with multiple teams, including the Baltimore Ravens who are now reportedly planning to bring him in for a second round interview with the organization, per Tom Pelissero.

Brady interviewed with the Ravens after Buffalo’s playoff loss against the Denver Broncos, so it’s not a surprise to see him getting interviews. However, the Bills are now in the head coaching cycle as they fired Sean McDermott early Monday morning after 9 seasons in the organization.
So not only does Buffalo have to find their next head coach, but now their offensive coordinator could very well leave and join a rival that has given Buffalo a lot of trouble the last couple of seasons.
Joe Brady gets one step closer to landing first HC job with tough Bills' rival
Brady cleaned up a mess that Ken Dorsey created when he was the offensive coordinator in 2022 and halfway through 2023. Brady opened up the playbook and implemented an “Everybody Eats” mentality to an offense that spread the ball around to everyone and not just focus on one or two players.
Despite not having a true No. 1 wide receiver to work with, Brady really elevated this offense as much as possible, and he brought back a great rushing attack with James Cook leading the way.
With him getting this second interview with the Ravens, the Bills will need to prepare to lose him. It will be interesting to see if Brady becomes a candidate for the Bills’ head coaching job but if not, then there is a chance where the Bills could face Brady somewhere else.
