The hiring of Joe Brady by the Buffalo Bills caused all kinds of reactions from the media and fans. Buffalo interviewed 9 candidates, and it started out with Brady which was no surprise. There were some speculations that the Bills would have waited longer potentially to make a decision, but in the end, they chose Brady.

Brady keeps continuity for the offense but also brings a new voice to the table to potentially make some real impact changes.

There are pros and cons to the Bills making this move. Some people may love it, some might be angry. Either way, it’s official and now the Bills can move forward to establish a coaching staff around Brady.

While some people may not be a fan of the hiring, the same can’t be said for a player on the Bills where it seems like he approves of the hiring of Brady.

Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid shared a photo of him and Brady on his Instagram story, via Bills outlet, and it’s a photo of Kincaid and Brady hugging, making it seem like Kincaid is excited about this move.

Dalton Kincaid looks to be fired up to have Joe Brady as next Bills head coach

Brady was named the interim offensive coordinator in the middle of Kincaid’s rookie season in 2023, and he has played a big role in Brady’s offense over the past few seasons. While Kincaid has been dealing with a knee injury since 2024, he has become a bit of a go-to guy for Josh Allen and that’s because Brady has drawn up the scheme for him.

The Bills getting an offensive-minded head coach in charge is extremely beneficial for that side of the ball. It also helps that it’s been the guy who has been with the team’s offense the last few seasons.

Buffalo will have to make a decision on Kincaid’s 5th-year option as part of his rookie contract. Brady will have to give his input on whether or not he could see Kincaid as part of his team for the long-term future. If not, then the Bills really need to consider the options for Kincaid if his future in Buffalo isn’t long.
