Last offseason, the Buffalo Bills went from moving on from Von Miller to bringing in Joey Bosa on a more reasonable contract, and there was little risk considering that it was only a one-year deal. When the Bills signed Miller in 2022, he was supposed to be the missing piece that would put the Bills over the top. Instead, a torn ACL on Thanksgiving started the decline in his production with the Bills which ultimately led to his release.

In March of last year, the Bills turned around and signed Bosa to a one-year deal worth $12.6 million. The biggest concern that fans had was Bosa’s durability as he developed a lengthy injury history with the Chargers.

Bosa finished his season leading the NFL in forced fumbles (5) and he delivered a pass rush that managed to create pressure, but the sack numbers weren’t always there. Now with the defense going under a new revamp with Jim Leonhard as the defensive coordinator, the likelihood of Bosa coming back to Buffalo is slim.

Never say never, but Bosa might be one-and-done in Buffalo. Now that begs the question; where is his best landing spot?

Joey Bosa predicted to leave Bills for most obvious team in NFC

Greg Auman from FOX Sports is predicting that Bosa will end up leaving the Bills and head back to California to sign with the San Francisco 49ers, where his brother Nick Bosa plays.

"With two playoff wins in 10 years in the league, might he consider taking less to join his brother Nick with the 49ers and try to make a meaningful postseason push? Buffalo is over the cap as it is, so it might look to go younger rather than bringing Bosa back." said Auman.

The 49ers were in the mix to try and acquire Bosa, but he ultimately chose Buffalo. Now, he would have the chance to join forces with his brother in the NFC West up in northern California. It would not be a shock at all to see Joey and Nick on the same team.

Bosa’s market value currently sits at $13.7 million which is just $1.1 million more than what Buffalo brought him in for. Could they bring him back? Absolutely. However, with a new scheme coming into play and the Bills having other roster holes to fill, it would make more sense for the Bills to either develop Landon Jackson or bring in another veteran that fits Leonhard’s scheme.
