The NFL Draft is exactly one week away and it’s an exciting time for fans all around the world who lock in to watch their favorite team build up the franchise for the future. Outside of free agency, it’s the biggest step in the direction towards the start of the season.
For Buffalo Bills fans, we know that Brandon Beane has a big task to build the roster around Josh Allen to keep them in the Super Bowl window. For as great and phenomenal as Allen is, Beane has to build up the defense more and maybe even get Allen another weapon or two.
Right now, the Bills are set to kick off their draft in the first round at No. 30. After an overachieving 2024 season, the Bills have ten draft picks to work with. More than likely they will make a move or two, whether it’s trading up or trading down.
The Bills have already announced that their first-round pick will be announced by a big fan of the Bills, Tommy Parzymieso, which was a fantastic gesture by Beane. Parzymieso will be going up to Green Bay to welcome Buffalo’s first draft pick.

In addition to Parzymieso making a pick for the Bills, a former Bills fan-favorite will also be announcing some draft picks for the Bills on the second day of the draft. Per Ari Meirov, the NFL announced the list of former and active NFL players that will be announcing the picks in the second and third round. For the Bills, former wide receiver Lee Evans is set to announce Buffalo’s Day 2 picks.
Former Bills WR Lee Evans will announce draft picks selection for Buffalo
Lee Evans was one of those players that was always on the field for the Bills and he produced as well as he could. Considering the fact that the Bills had a revolving door at quarterback, Evans still managed to put up solid numbers in seven seasons with the Bills.
In seven years with Buffalo, Evans put up 377 receptions, 5,934 yards, and 4 touchdowns. The only time that Evans didn’t play in 16 games was his last season as a member with the Bills in 2010. After spending seven years in Buffalo, Evans was traded to the Baltimore Ravens but had little to no impact with them in just one season.
When the Bills make their selections on the second day of the draft, Evans will be walking up to the podium and announcing the future that is coming to Buffalo. The second day will feature a lot of current and former players for each franchise which will be neat to watch.
