Despite the Buffalo Bills being one of the top teams in the NFL during the Josh Allen era, they not only have zero Super Bowl championships to show for it, but no Super Bowl appearances to show for it either. It's been frustrating for Bills fans, to say the least.

That being said, the offseason provides one positive thing and that's hope for all 32 franchises that something good will come their way in the upcoming season. For the Bills, the only thing that really gets fans excited is the dream of making it to (and winning) a Super Bowl. Buffalo hasn't made a Super Bowl since the 1993 season and it was the fourth straight championship the Bills lost.

Seth Walder of ESPN recently released his NFL Football Power Index and -- good news, Bills fans -- Buffalo makes three of Walder's 10 most likely Super Bowl match-ups for Super Bowl 60. Even better news -- They're in two of his top four match-ups with the third-most likely one being Buffalo against Philadelphia and the fourth-most likely being the Bills against the Lions.

ESPN just handed the Bills Super Bowl odds fans will dream about

Bills fans have grown accustomed to hearing their team discussed as one of the top Super Bowl contenders but so far, that hasn't paid off. The Bills had to deal with the Patriots being in their division for the longest time and then the Chiefs emerged as the new AFC powerhouse, appearing in five of the last six Super Bowls. It's frustrating, to say the least.

The good news is that the 2025 season offers new hope for the Bills. Allen is coming off his first MVP season and as long as he's playing at a high level, Buffalo has a chance to contend for a Super Bowl. The Bills came close to reaching the big game last season but once again, saw their hopes dashed by the Chiefs.

Hopefully, there's some truth to Walder's projections. It'd be more fun to see the Bills and Lions square off in a Super Bowl than the Bills and Eagles but Buffalo won't be picky. However the Bills get to the Super Bowl and whoever they play when they get there, that's just fine for a franchise starved for a championship.
