One of the all-time greats in Buffalo Bills history doesn’t always get the recognition across the NFL and he should just because of how dominant he was in Buffalo. Former running back Thurman Thomas played in Buffalo for 12 seasons and was an absolutely unbelievable player for the Bills.

The Hall of Fame running back was a five-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All Pro player while also winning the MVP award in the 1991 season. He knows a thing or two about great players when he sees them. Well, he certainly sees something with the Bills’ newest wide receiver in Elijah Moore.

Buffalo signed Moore this past offseason to a one-year deal and he is going to bring the speed that the Bills were lacking. Fans are excited for what Moore can bring to this offense as he is only 25 years old and has had some of the worst quarterback situations throughout his career. Now he gets Josh Allen throwing him the ball on a prove-it deal. It’s a perfect setup for Moore to shine with the Bills.

Elijah Moore catches the attention of Bills legend Thurman Thomas

Moore posted a video to X of his route running that he has been working on and he looks very fast. It has received a lot of attention as fans are getting excited about what Moore can do to help out Buffalo’s passing attack, including Thomas.

Thomas reposted Moore’s video and commented “Y’all in trouble..” along with two emojis:

We are feeling the same way, Thurman. Moore was a great addition to the Bills and has a case to the best under-the-radar signing this offseason. Not only does he bring speed and athleticism to the team, he also knows the importance of being part of a winning culture which was something that he wasn’t in with the Jets and Browns.

Bills fans should expect big plays by Moore, even though he may not be the go-to guy for Allen. The good news is that he doesn’t need to be, due to the fact that Buffalo likes to spread the ball around in the passing attack.
