We haven’t even made it to Sunday Week 10 matchups and there is already someone talking about the Buffalo Bills losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. The Bills have their attention turned to the Indianapolis Colts for this Sunday, but the obvious biggest matchup of their schedule up to this point is in Week 11 when they host the Chiefs.
Since 2020, the Bills and Chiefs have formed a little bit of a rivalry, but the Chiefs have always bounced the Bills out of the playoffs. Specifically, Kansas City has knocked the Bills from the postseason three of the last four seasons. It’s no secret that the Chiefs have become the Bills’ Super Bowl the last couple of years.
However, Kansas City has not beaten Buffalo in the regular season since 2020. With the way the trend has gone, the Bills should give the Chiefs a loss (potentially even their first one of the season). Not everyone has the same thought on this trend though.
Kansas City Chiefs projected to beat Buffalo Bills and finish regular season undefeated
CBS Sports analyst Tyler Sullivan projected bold predictions for the second half of the season and to no surprise, the Chiefs made it onto the list. Specifically, Sullivan is projecting that the Chiefs are going to finish the regular season 17-0.
"With the offense getting in stride to match a defense that has been stout throughout the first half of the year, they may be favored to win their remaining games. Possibly, their biggest test comes in Week 11 when they travel to Buffalo to face the Bills. If they leave Orchard Park with a win to move to 10-0, they then face the Panthers (road), Raiders (home), Chargers (home), and Browns (road) over the following month."Tyler Sullivan, CBS Sports
There’s no doubt that Buffalo will be Kansas City’s biggest test down the stretch. Quite frankly, it would be shocking to see the Chiefs take down the Bills once again in Orchard Park but anything is possible. At the same time, the Bills are built to beat the Chiefs. They have just made crucial mistakes against them in the past that has cost them.
Buffalo’s main season goal isn’t to end Kansas City’s undefeated streak. However, there is an understanding that more than likely, the Chiefs are going to be seeing the Bills in the playoffs and Buffalo’s ultimate goal should be to knock them out of the playoffs and advance.
